Marcu Floarea
Director of Facility Services
Marcu began his career in Romania working in construction of commercial buildings and structures. For thirteen years, he gained experience in electrical work, plumbing and heating, air conditioning, and other trades related to construction to become a well-rounded and career-driven individual.
In 1997, after moving to the United States, he began working as a general contractor building residential homes. He began at Bethany Center as a subcontractor after moving to Tennessee with his family.
From 2006 to 2019, he transitioned to the maintenance department and began leading various teams and projects to successful completion. Over the last 20 years, he has strived for personal growth and has become a leader in the community. He has obtained a bachelor's degree in Bible theology, has been serving in the administrative board of Bethel Church of God, and is also the treasurer for that church. Using these personal and leadership skills he strives to improve the lives of residents and lead the increase in quality of the facility at Bethany.
