In 2014, after much consideration, Casey decided to enroll in the nursing program at Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Nashville. Upon graduation, Casey applied with Bethany Center and began working as Charge Nurse on 2nd shift. Within months, Casey was promoted to night shift weekend Supervisor, a position held for over 3 years before transitioning to 2nd shift Supervisor in 2018. In September of 2020, after two years as 2nd shift Supervisor, Casey was again promoted, accepting the position of Staff Development Coordinator and now as the  Infection Control Preventionist.  In this position, Casey works closely with staff, providing education, and developing training programs and educational strategies to facilitate quality improvement efforts to meet educational and staffing needs.
