Labor Day-Watermelon Social
Throughout the centuries, it is believed, our botanist ancestors played around with the different traits, breeding out the bitter taste for a sweeter one, making the melon larger (which, thanks to gravity, gave it the oblong shape).  Join our Residents at Bethany on Labor Day for some delicious watermelon. “They are one in a Melon.” Stop by on September 6 for one of nature’s delights.

National Pepperoni Pizza Day!
The history of pizza began centuries ago when ancient cultures produced basic flatbreads with various toppings.  Modern pizza evolved from Naples, Italy, in the 18th or early 19th century.  National Pepperoni Pizza Day occurs nationally when the Residents of Bethany Center descend upon some delicious pizza pie! Join us for a slice of heaven on Earth Day, Monday, September 20! Extra cheese, please!

A Southern September in Savannah!
A trip to Savannah, anyone?  Who doesn’t love a good road trip?  A day trip to Savannah is just what a good ‘ole Southern heart needs.  There’s nothing better…well…except…maybe a two day trip to Savannah!  Reserve your seat on the bus for September 29th and 30th.  We’ll call each other “Dah-ling” and use huge paper fans to keep cool!  We’ll eat tasty southern cuisine, such as: peach cobbler and fried green tomatoes, while we spend the afternoons watching classic movies like Steel Magnolias.  Make plans to book this trip today!

As we practice proper social distancing protocols in our community, we are proud to feature modified programming to continue providing vibrancy for our residents and employees. All events are subject to change. Please feel free to follow us on our Facebook page for continued updates as well as reaching out to us via Messenger.
